This workshop is designed for health care professionals requiring ECG recognition and management skills for advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). The workshop will provide a quick and easy approach to common ACLS ECG arrhythmia interpretation and management. The goal of the workshop, is to provide a systematic framework for health care professionals when interpreting and managing ACLS ECG rhythms. Recognising life threatening rhythms and knowing how to manage the arrhythmia is critical to providing safe and effective care to the patient. The workshop allows the health care professional an opportunity to apply the three electrical therapies of defibrillation, cardioversion, and pacing in a safe environment with advanced life support monitors.
